Todd Ericksrud has spent the last twenty years of his career focused on the synchronization of international and domestic logistics. This complex supply chain challenge has fascinated Todd, driving him to create solutions that have increased global supply chain reliability while providing visibility to eliminate wasted time, inventory and cost.
With 30 years of transportation and logistics experience across multiple modes and verticals, Todd is the founder of MatchBack Systems. He launched the company in 2014, applying a technology-driven, innovative approach to solve the decades-old supply chain problem of container repositioning inland. The company developed award-winning software, leading to recognition as an industry leader for street-turn solutions. In 2024, the company launched its Pivot solution to optimize the entire inland container lifecycle. Todd has led MatchBack Systems to several industry awards, most notably winning the JOC Tech Innovation Jam, Wisconsin Innovation Award, Greater Green Bay Chamber of Commerce Entrepreneurial Award and the SDCE Green Supply Chain Award.
Todd, a Minnesota native, holds a master’s degree in international logistics from The Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) School of Industrial and System's Engineering and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management. He is the founder of the New York Mills (MN) Civic Excellence Award and is a passionate advocate for the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation to find a cure for inflammatory bowel diseases.
Todd resides in Green Bay, WI, where he enjoys biking and spending time with his wife and four children.
