GE Transportation and MatchBack Systems Help Drive Marine Terminal Efficiencies

MatchBack Systems becomes a collaborator in the GE Transportation Port Optimizer Solution.

Today MatchBack Systems, Inc., the leading software as a service (SaaS) solution to plan, optimize and automate street-turns, and GE Transportation (NYSE:GE), the developer of the leading port optimization solution, announced that MatchBack Systems will collaborate with GE Transportation for their Port Optimizer™ solution.  Port Optimizer leverages big data to address marine terminal visibility, execution and efficiencies and facilitates a dynamic window into port and cargo information. It is currently in use at the Port of Los Angeles and the Port of Long Beach.

The MatchBack capabilities will help drive additional inland performance improvements and operational and cost efficiencies for Port stakeholders by automating the street-turn process, reducing empty turns and reducing carbon emissions.
