MatchBack Systems, Inc., the leading software as a service (SaaS) solution to plan, optimize and automate matchbacks, received a THINC! Award For Planet Innovation at the sixth annual Insight Innovation Awards THINC! Event held May 11, 2017.

The mission of the Insight Innovation Awards is to shine a spotlight on innovation in Northeast Wisconsin to provoke, inspire and energize people to build on – and invest in – ideas to advance the regional economy.
 
"At MatchBack Systems we have the ‘20-22 Initiative’; we will eliminate 20 million metric tons of emissions annually and remove 3.5 million vehicles from the road by matching back containers and bookings by 2022,” continued Ericksrud. “Our research shows one third of containers and bookings have a possible matchback. We now have the technology to create an industry standard to fill those containers and realize meaningful sustainability savings.”
